MARKETING ASSISTANT FOR PREACHERMANN AND THE REVIVAL
The Marketing Assistant for Preachermann and The Revival will work under the direction of the Media Coordinator and communicate on a regular basis with the Media Coordinator regarding the following responsibilities:
ONGOING
Remain aware of all upcoming shows and appearances of Preachermann and The Revival
Compile list of media outlet contact information
Distribute press releases and updates to media outlets and social media networks based on marketing schedule
Locate media writers and encourage show reviews and interviews with Preachermann
Keep track of band merchandise inventory and notify the Media Coordinator when restocking is needed
AS NEEDED
Attend Preachermann and The Revival performances or solo appearances by Preachermann
Take photos (pre-show, performance, post-performance)
Live tweet photos from event with commentary (pre-show, performance, post-performance)
Take crowd attendance count during show
Sell band merchandise
Turn in all payments to Preachermann
Forward all photos, crowd attendance count, new contacts and any pertinent information to band email address
Assist in band photo shoots
REQUIRED SKILLS
Excellent communication, spelling and grammar skills
Working Knowledge of social media (facebook, pinterest, twitter, etc.)
Math skills
Ability to take direction and to make decisions when necessary
Professional appearance and demeanor
Appreciation of and respect for the music, members, fans and friends of Preachermann and The Revival
JOB STATUS
This is an intern position with a duration of six months. Preachermann and The Revival will provide letters of recommendation or other required document support for interns who complete the six month work period.

Preachermann and The Revival is a nine member New York based band that blends rock, gospel and funk to create an original and engaging sound that Preachermann has dubbed ATOMIC SOUL.
